Abstract

Indonesia is known as the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The progress of the nation is determined by future generations like children, but the knowledge and values ​​of defending the country that children aged 4-6 years are still lacking, so it is necessary to instill the character of defending the country and a sense of love for the homeland. To instill these values ​​in children is by playing. Therefore, this design aims to instill the character of defending the country and love for the homeland in children through interactive books containing games. For children aged 4-6 years to know about this book, promotional media are needed. The promotional media used are posters. The method used is a qualitative and quantitative description. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature. The output of this design is an interactive book promotion poster with the theme of state defense education to instill the character of defending the country and love for the homeland to the younger generation of Indonesia.
