DESIGNING VISUAL COMMUNICATION MEDIA ABOUT EDUCATION WITH THE CONCEPT OF FUN LEARNING TO TRAIN FINE MOTOR SKILLS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD

ICT in the classroom can enhance learning resources for teachers by providing access to nonverbal and verbal presentation modes, enabling teachers to use various media to help students develop their fine motor abilities. Early childhood education, which prepares children for further education, often struggles with sensitive motor development elements. This study explores the value of visual communication media about education in video tutorials with fun learning concept, such as making shapes with plasticine and telling folk stories, to train fine motor skills and cultivate good character in early childhood. The process is divided into three stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. Observations showed that students could determine shapes and colors without video, but needed to focus on softening the plasticine. After the video was shown and with teacher assistance, students succeeded in making apple and turtle shapes. The teacher also emphasizes the moral messages of the story. Testing on material and media experts concluded that this educational media can be used or recommended as a learning media for early childhood.
