KONSEP TROPIKAL PADA DESAIN UNIT VILLA GOYA BOUTIQUE RESORT, UBUD-BALI

Abstract

The growth of tourism accommodation in Ubud area are spread continuously. Commercial facilities like villas in Bali and Ubud especially, more variatif by time. Once of new brand interesting hotel in Ubud is Goya Boutique Resort that located in Bisma Street Ubud. This hotel apply modern tropical concept. The design elements, site planning, space program, capacity, façade, and interior are interesting to analyze. How the tropical concept apply and modificate to make functional design, space efficiency and bring the new room experience in their room. The villa building design used open space concept but still keep the privacy of user. Tropical design experiences can feel by the dominant of open space, so the main bedroom, privat area and complement facility are mix in one unique site.
