Abstract

There is no doubt that the postmodernism world as a cultural expression in a photography work, that is prewedding photograph which blurred the boundaries of reality with images through a media. The image generated from the prewedding photograph can not be separated from a symbol that wants to be realized in its environment. The simulation era has distorted a reality which it considers to be ideal. A marriage is no longer about its sacred procession but rather a shift of priority to the essence of the marriage. The first method is the direct observation to get the data in accordance with reality in the marriage process. The results of observations obtained there are always the prewedding photos displayed with various concepts in the wedding events. Art of photography has become a popular culture of concern when the existence of social media has become a container of the distribution of human interest in socializing. The result is that we are no longer talking about the function of the media to express human feelings or ideas but also organize ideas and human feelings. Reality is no longer the only reflection in the art of photography but has merged into a simulation that people wants to create for his/her own sake. The view of the art of photography, especially the prewedding photo in Balinese society has given the description that has entered the world of hyperreality, not only for the upper class, but the lower-middle-class society also do the prewedding photo as a form of existence in contemporary culture.
