TINJAUAN SISTEMATIS MENGENAI PENGARUH DESAIN INTERIOR PADA KESEJAHTERAAN JIWA PENGGUNA RUANG

Abstract

Desain yang baik dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi kesejahteraan penggunanya. Dalam hal ini potensi desain dan lingkungan telah menjadi kajian yang menarik dan menjanjikan untuk menciptakan dunia yang lebih baik. Desain interior dipandang sebagai salah satu kekuatan penting untuk memberikan kebaikan bagi pengguna ruangnya. Namun perlu diamati lebih lanjut mengenai bukti terkini bahwa desain interior memberikan pengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan mental.
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan tinjauan sistematis dari artikel-artikel yang telah diterbitkan pada jurnal oleh para peneliti desain khususnya bidang desain interior. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta Analysis digunakan untuk mengetahui karakteristik artikel, fokus kajian, metodologi serta hasil dari penelitian mengenai desain interior untuk kesejahteraan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review melalui dua database online dalam kurun waktu 2018-2023. Berbagai istilah pencarian yang berkaitan dengan desain interior untuk kesejahteraan mental digunakan. Setelah penyaringan judul dan abstrak dari 187 artikel, diperoleh 11 artikel yang eligible dan diekstraksi melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh membuktikan bahwa desain interior memberikan dampak pengaruh positif terhadap kesejahteraan pengguna ruangnya melalui aspek (1) lighting menyediakan cahaya alami maupun buatan kedalam ruang sehingga dapat memberikan efek suasana serta stimulus perasaan tertentu terhadap pengguna ruangnya. (2) indoor environtmental quality, dengan cara menyediakan tanaman khusus indoor selain menghasilkan udara bersih dalam ruangan serta dapat menstimulus suasana hati pengguna ruang melalui warna-warna yang dihasilkan.
(3) pendekatan layout and furniture, melalui penyediaan privasi ruang, semakin besar privasi yang didapat, pengguna ruang akan merasa semakin nyaman (4) pendekatan karakter desain dengan cara mengharmonisasi ruang melalui tema tertentu.
